A postgraduate seminar titled 'Resettlement or Resentment? Expectations and Experiences fo Resettlement of Sudanse and Somali Refugees living in New Zealand who have come from refugee camps in Kenya' was presented by Julius Marete, a Masters by Thesis student, on Wednesday 7 October as 12pm in Room 105, School of Social Work and Human Services. The title of his presentation was based on his visit to Kenya in 2009 and the refugee camps there.

Albert Kuruvila, a PhD candidate with the School of Social Work and Human Services, has received a New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarship (NZIDRS), administered by Education New Zealand.

Book Launch
Eloise’s Excellent Experiment, written and illustrated by Nikki Evans and Brontë Evans Pollock, was officially launched on the 20th September at the School of Social Work and Human Services.
